The Three Sirens

photoshop, wacom, painter, many many hours.

so i quit my FT sales job, so i can pursue art. finally at least for about a year, i have all the time i want to draw/paint. ive been pretty legalistic about it... using a stopwatch to make sure i at least do art for 7.5 hours which is a standard work day. i feel like i needed to do that to substantiate such a 'irresponsible' move on my part leaving a solid career oriented job with a fortune 500 company with benefits. but if i had stayed, i think it would have squelched my desire/motivation to be an artist, so im willing to accept the possibility of being a starving artist, but if i practice and be true to myself about my craft, i think it will work out. so thats my story. so it begins with this picture, and many more are to come.
